I am having problems phoning my wife in Bangladesh. She has an aussie mobile and I am trying to call from australia. She has global roaming. She is sending me texts but not recieving any. I have recieved all sorts of advice like "dial the country cose before and drop the zero" "Ring the normal number". I have done this and have had no results. Does anyone have any clue?

seriously mate I have no idea but we had the same trouble with daughter when she was in sweden.
Is either of the phones prepaid? O/S calls can be a problem with prepaid as the Indian network doesnt get any money.
Does your service provider have a relationship with a network in India?

Yes both of the phones are pre-paid. maybe that is the problem
dont give up just yet.
Talk to your service provider, it seems to me that if a message will go one way ie from wife to you, then it should go the other way as well.
