I posted the following under another thread but got no response.
Starting a new thread, as perhaps it may be the better way to go.
I am looking for confirmation on which is correct with the following.
144 Across Clue "Held in store" Answer ?T?C?E?
I was all set to write in "stOcked" but then had a brain wave it might be "stAcked".
I would appreciate some feedback as to which would be the one to go for.

I would say STOCKED as stock is goods held in store, you just stack the stock.
I very much agree (and as the wife of a supermarket owner I really should know that answer
) Dont you just hate those ones which can go more than one way!
