#1 is probably "Mad Max"
#6 is probably "Risky Business"
#3 might be "Finding Forrester"
The movie titles that I guessed match the letter count in each set of brackets. I am very sure about "Mad Max" and "Risky Business". "Aliens" and "Finding Forrester" are only guesses.
Cryptic film quiz
Hi, Babystretch
I think the last one is "A Christmas Carol". Don't know if the American readers will know Carol Smillie!
Cryptic Film Quiz
Me, again, Babystretch.
I agree with Mad Max and Risky Business, but I'm not sure about Aliens, though I haven't come up with an alternative yet.
However, I am pretty sure that 3 is Finding Neverland (Terrain - land; On no account - never).
Do you agree wandeljw?
2 and 4 have me stumped. I'll think about it tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is another day!

Very good, Tufdevil. "Finding Neverland" fits much better than my guess.
thanks for your help
Thanks,
these have been very helpful and they have been bugging me for a week.
Still stumped on number 4) Thick Tied Ribbon (5).
Although just so you don't think i have been lazy The Birth of your unique self (3-6-8), is The Bourne Identity. Birth=Born, Unique Self (Identity).

Cryptic Film Quiz
Thanks for that Babystretch. The missing answers have been bugging me. Still can't think of the ribbon one. I thought of an Alice band, 'cause there was a film called Alice, but that's really elastic rather than ribbon, so I didn't persue it. Let us know if you get the answer.
Happy New Year
