Just a quick bit of Algebra...

...I'm helping someone with this algebra question they are stuck on...I've come up with two answers, so does someone mind having a go and telling me what they think the answer is?

16x-2/3=3x

Assuming your second term is "two thirds" then x=2/39

If on the other hand you meant (16x-2)/3=3x then x=2/7
