Im looking for some clothes

But I dont know what brand it is, or how to find it.

They are the over size shirts you see that have the long necks, and reach down past , or close to your knees. Over size sleeves that are wide around the base, but taper close to the elbow..

Like that.. but it is a baggier style and sometimes has a higher neck..

I had a shirt , the style I am looking for now, but I found it at Goodwill.

I tried doing several searches for the name on the tag wich was Kazana..

no luck..


( Ian washed the shirt in warm water. now it wont fit over my boobs ) Confused

Check out the Lane Bryant and associated companies. They have lots of those types of big shirts, and not just in plus sizes.

they dont have the specific style I am looking for.

I would almost call it a buddhist style shirt.. but that isnt correct..

shewolfnm- I have a few of those in the back of my closet that were bought a few decades ago. I will never get rid of them. They cover a multitude of sins! Laughing

Shewolf, I'm still looking but FYI I've been using the terms "mandarin collar," "frog closure," and "tunic." (Several near-hits, nothing quite right yet or else super-expensive.)

I'm guessing you're looking for something tunic-ish. I like that style too, especially the way the flared sleeves and length pull the eyes away from the body. Let me see what I can find.

Do you sew? The times I've really liked an item that I had, but couldn't find more like it, I've made patterns from the one I liked and made my own.

Can you give more details about what you're looking for? Type of fabric (cotton, silk, doesn't matter?), are the frog closures important or just regular buttons fine, etc.

This one from Land's End is close. You could always replace the buttons with something closer to what you like, or use button covers.

Me too! (Thinking about whether I need a tunic...) And since it's white cotton it's eminently dye-able to whatever color shewolf would prefer. And comes in sizes up to 3X.

But not sure if it meets her other preferences.

I think she's looking for something longer than a tunic. She mentioned it comes down close to her knees in her first post.
