the BBC reports :
"A Japanese woman trying on a pair of jeans in a shop got a shock when she was stung by a scorpion hidden inside."
the scorpion was no doubt hoping to sting a male species of the humen race .
OUCH

I've been stung by scorpions numerous times. It feels similar to a wasp sting, and you get "cotton mouth." Once, I had one run up my pant leg. It stung me twice before I got it out. This was in South Texas.
believe it or not, a scorpon can be quite tasty. You keep its fvront busy and remove the stinger, then pop it on a spit like a crayfish. Crunchy and meaty when cooked on an open fire.
Its a good thing.
When I was a kid, we tied scorpions to a stake on top of an ant hill. It was like Sparticus, only less entertaining.
farmerman's christmas song : "scorpions cooked on open fire !"
hope the scorpion doesn't mind .

I found a Japanese woman in my jeans once, too.
So I can identify with the scorpion.
I am sure the scorpion must have been traumatized severely.
