I'd rather seize the day, and get a mouthful of bottom dweller.

Has anyone tried Monkfish? I had one nearly take my finger off once!

Thought the bugger was dead and went to pick it up.

Never trust a Monkfish who's got its eyes closed.

Interesting thread from a cultural point of view.

Carp is not even fit for dog food in OZ. Uur rives are plagued with Carp. They taste muddy, are a pest of the first order and gardening companies make fertilizer out of them.

Carlie Carp.

Millions of dollars are spent on eradicating this fish.

A coordinated approach to carp management and control through research, education, information and commercial opportunities is adopted. The Task Force is carrying out its mains aims by adopting activities including: providing an effective forum to seek community input on ways to mitigate the carp problem, developing a range of quality carp education materials, encourage commercial exploitation of carp, support plans to reduce the impact of carp in waterways, and assess the impacts of carp mitigation activities. The Task Force is now represented on the new Daughterless Carp Reference Group.

Carp make lousy eating. Give me a bottom feeding catfish any day over a carp!

Chai Tea may I offer you a nice trouser trout?

Or perhaps a bit of my delightful zipper kipper? It's considered a delicacy.

Ever been a LANDLOCKED country?!?! I can't take this berating of carps. They are God's creatures, too, if there is one. Such snobbery and lookingdownonesnosedness! Is it because we're eastern european? I better start my 'good bye a2k, don't try to talk me out of it, I really really quit, though I probably will be back tomorrow" thread.
