God I feel like carp.

I had it in a Restaurant once in France. Absolutely delicious.

They say it's a bottom muncher, but that didn't put me off, as I was bloody hungry.
Well, I could do with a large plate of carp and Potato Dauphinoise right now!

Is there any particular thing that you're craving today?

Tell, Jane, tell. Razz

L.E., are you not aware of the man who was fishing for carp and lost his wallet in the water? He was concerned until he saw two of those bottom dwellers tossing his wallet back and forth. That is what is known in America as carp to carp walleting. Get it?

You know what I'm really craving today? I'd like to find a topic to discuss that doesn't immediately turn into a pre-school spit fight full of name calling. I miss the old usergroups we used to have on A2K. I miss being able to learn about and from each other via those old town meeting type discussions we had. I miss the A2K sisterhood in politics.

I'm thinking of taking a page from the bunny's book and creating a little digression over in a dusty corner in the A2K basement. If we disguise it as a women's synchronized swim team discussion over in the sports section, maybe we can do that again. If we whisper, we'll get to have a nice rap session for awhile before the dogs start barking again.

Wouldn't that be a fine kettle of fish? I bet you'd not feel like carp afterward.

<sits flyingnetbutterything down, fetches soothing cup of Chamomile tea, begins to rub lavendar oil into taut shoulder and neck muscles>

There there, let Uncle Ellpus rub it all better. When you've finished your tea, I'll fetch you a nice plate of carp.

Personally, I agree with netbutterflying and think that us women should have a totally separate section, where we can confess all of our explicit secrets to one another in private, with some sort of photographic storybook as a visual aid.

I'm casting about for the next pun, myself.

But I'm afraid I've already fallen for it-- hook, line and sinker.

I forbid the use of amusing puns in this thread.

Thank god there haven't been any yet.
