Hello All
I need clarification as to which one is the right answer to
102D Clue "Showed DVD again"
Rerun or Reran. I am leaning towards RERAN.
I know this particular one has been used in Lovatt's before, but I can never remember what past tense is correct, when it comes up again.
It must be one of Lovatt's pet favourites to catch us out on. ;-)
Thanks in advance.

Hi EscapePod
My entry will show "reran", it is a past tense clue.
regards Dutchy
Thanks Dutchy.... Reran it is.
Would I be stretching the friendship to ask you about another one?
228D Clue Lord Of The Flies ?A?L?A?UB (if I have those others right).
Been sitting here waiting for the penny to drop but so far no luck.
Regards

Hi EscapePod,
The Lord of the Flies (which is translated from Hebrew "Beelzebub", or "Ba'alzevuv"). "Lord of the Flies" is said to be a mistranslation from a mistransliterated word, but it does sound pungent and evil, like that of a reference to the devil.
Hope this helps
Hi Escapod
My answer is beelzebub, like farkha describes.
235a = tempt
252a = relish
264a = weevil
274a = eaude
284a = ruby
Hope this helps.
Have a Merry X-mas and a Happy New Year. Dutchy is offline for a weeks after tomorrow.
Many thanks farkha and Dutchy
I had quite a few going across incorrect. My entry looks like the Black and White Minstrel Show. :-)
I left that area and concentrated on another area. About 3/4 of the way through now.
Thanks again for your help. That little area was becoming a nightmare at this end.
