116D. Pre-WW1 golden era, (5,6).
I am completely baffled with this one, any help would be appreciated.

I think that the answer to the clue for 116d.- Pre-WWl golden era -(5,6) is 'belle epoque'. Apparently it was the 'period of comfortable well-established life before World war I. From what I have read 'belle epoque' literally means 'fine period'.
