The answer to 201a is KNEEJERK.

20d looks like "knitting" or "knotting". What's the clue?

I think I have worked it out

201 is Kneejerk

201d is fusing, I think the answer is Knitting?

Does that sound right?

I officially now, do not have any Lovatts Crossword books left to do,
should get The Big on Monday, usually get about 2 others as well.
