Wande - all the problems you posted involve really basic concepts. If you don't understand how to solve any of them (especially this one) you need to let your teacher know you're not getting it.

At this point in the school year, if you're in algebra, basic or algebra 1, you should know how to multiply two negative numbers.

The best advice I can give you is to talk to your teacher. Show him/her these problems, tell him/her you don' t know how to do them and you need help.

Looks to me like some tutoring or reteaching needs to be going on.
