Can anyone confirm my answer to 12 across -

I have A_U_S and think it is probably ABUTS. Remove O from ABOUT and add S.
I am pretty sure my down answers are correct for the three letters I have.

Yes, we did - I wasn't sure if I was in the right place, so posted a second query. I'm better at cryptic crosswords than I am at computers I think.

The way you did it this time is correct. If you tag it onto another thread not many people will see it, I will, because I go through them from time to time.
However, whenever you have a query, do a new posting like this one and everybody gets to read it and you may get a quickier response. A2K takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it is a breeze.
