Needing professional help my brain has melted

Hi scuby,

According to my way of thinking you are correct -

1d : furious = irate
about (anagram)
opening (beginning) restaurant = r + it
thus, anagram of irate + r + it = IRRITATE = cause aggravation.

20a : the first (beginning) = t +
finished = ended = TENDED = well looked after
