one day, three friends went to a hotel, they asked counter how much is one room, the counter said 30$ per room. therefore, everyone paid 10$ for the room. Subsequently, manager gave them a discount, 25$ per room. The counter should give 5$ back to them, but the counter gave 3$ back to them. Each one get 1 $. at last, they spent 9$ per people, 3x9=27$ add on the counter's 2$ =29. where is the one dollar.
Exactly
This is a classic riddle that gives misinformation and leads the solver thinging one figure is important, when it's really the other.
Haha, yes I remember seeing this a couple of times while I was browsing through the riddles forum. Nice riddle to ask if the person you're asking gets confused easily, haha.
From one perspective it does make one ponder as to how the businessmen wound up paying $9 each when they actually paid more than that.
??? no wonder the political forums are so screwed up ....
they got screwed over by taxes
And a lack of logic skills.
