when loading my DVD player, It says wrong disc or no disc! what is the problem?

If it does it with every disk, then it is in a condition which technical people call 'broken'. Other terms for this condition include "faulty", "malfunctioning", or "busted".

I wouldn't stress about it. You can get a brand new one for about $25.

Mine cost $50 and plays DivX and mp3. They are so cheap now!

Mine cost $39, but I bought it a year ago. Recently I thought I had lost the remote (found it later) and went online to get the price for a replacement-- $54!

How on earth do they expect to stay in business selling such an expensive remote packaged with such a cheap DVD player?

Then it occurred to me that, while they're probably losing money on every sale, I'm sure they make it up in volume...
