The answer for embodiment is 'epitome'.

You mention clue 107a from Stinker 106 out of the Colossus magazine. That clue is different to the one in my magazine. Are you perhaps talking about an issue in the UK?

If this is the case I can't help you with the answers for the other clues where your letter differ to the answer 'epitome'

Just a little confusion, I think, Dutchy. The Stinker in Holiday Collection 58 has EPITOME as 107a.

The crossing words for that are:

108d PUNIC
68d OPERANDI
109d TIED
96d IAMBIC

That should clear it up. Any more problems give us a yell.

hi Dutchy and Lezzles, thanks for your response, I had written runic instead of punic, my error once again.
How do you get those pictures besides your names?
With regards to the UK, I still get home sick, but I wouldn`t go back there to live, life is too good here.
My brother does a lot of crosswords at his home in Uk, but does not find time to do these wonderful puzzles in the Uk issues of Lovatts, regards Gillbritt

Ignore all you've learned about Hindu mythology! An avatar is a graphic that you use to represent yourself. You can chose an avatar by editing your profile (it's on a link at the top of every forum page).
How to select an avatar.

At the top of the forum pages there is a link to "Profile". Click it to edit your profile (where you will add an avatar).

Scroll to the bottom of the profile edit page and click "show gallery"

Choose an avatar

Now, at the bottom of the edit profile page you press submit.

Make sure you do that last step as many times people neglect that final one.

And you have yourself an avatar.

Hope this get you your Avatar.
