Very true Setanta, credit given. The only time i crossed the Mississippi it was around midnight and it was dark.
Miss Cleo loves Miss Piffka too!
Long drive over the river, Boss, if you were in a car. If you flew, it takes only a moment, but the sight in day time is still impressive.
Man, that dog musta been really tired by the time you got to Missouri . . .
Naseby Moor reenactments? Marston Moor? Awkkkk. Nothing like a little military pomp to get the blood rushing.
Beth, you've got the right idea! There's nothing so nice as a long romp in the countryside with some good dogs. Too bad there's that long quarantine period. Miss Cleo is a charmer!
Moreso since she went to school. You should see Miss Cleo do her push-ups!
On looking back at the photos from November, I'm sure that I want to get both Mr. Bailey and Miss Cleo sheepskins for Christmas.
Push-ups? Really? I'm trying to picture that.
I can't believe you haven't given them sheepskins yet... they must have suffered all winter.
Watchin' old Lassie re-runs an' learin' at the nurses' aides, no doubt . . .
(Edited to note that OAK must have deleted his post . . . )
sit
lie down
sit
lie down
sit
lie down
Bailey did 10 of them at Cleo's graduation ceremony!
(no suffering allowed, piffka - they had their duvet!)
there - pushups - we got this back to the military!
Yes I did, cos it was a reply to a post by setanta but it was late, so i need to rewrite it--------------------------------------------
Setanta --- the dog's racing days were over and became a couch potato
OAK -- I am confused... must be talking 'bout that Greyhound?
Beth, what a great idea. I think my girls could learn that, given enough cookies. I've trained them to (most of the time) lie down immediately when I stamp my foot -- a trick I learned from the dog trainer in the book The Accidental Tourist.
