I haven't tackled the Demon yet, but I agree "marque" is correct. Here is my reference:

Lovatts Demon tissue fluid
Desperate for help!! In Lovatts Demon is "tissue fluid" (72 D) leach? I'd be glad if someone could put me out of my misery.

My copy of the Demon went in some weeks ago and I haven't kept a copy, however I submit this could be your answer:

LYMPH possible answer for the clue tissue fluid
noun: lymph 1. a thin coagulable fluid similar to plasma but containing white blood cells lymphocytes and chyle; is conveyed to the blood stream by lymphatic vessels
