I dislike querying words but is pratering a genuine word? And if so, what does it mean?

Pratering is going on and on in an aggravating set of frequencies about others not doing one's bidding. Low level but constant nagging.
Obviously I'm unresponsive when I am taking so much time to define a common word for you in a way you might not forget.
