Since I'm on a 7/7 basis in my native/home town (visiting/taking care of my mother) in the house, where I lived 20 years and where I'm registered as secondary residence - I post pics from there as well.

(NB: last weekend, we had "Witches Town Party" there. Although, not really more [but not less as well] witches were burned there in 16th/17th/18th century, it is commonly known as "Hexen-Geseke" ['Witches Geseke']). The town party doesn't differ to any at any other place - just witches instead of flags hanging around ... and local females dressed up as such.)

View from the market place:

This is the view from the other side (north/station):

And this is the house, in case you missed it (and my car):

Here is the view just across from my flat. It's Towan bay in Newquay.
If you look closely you will see a white building on the headland. My flat is on the ground floor.

Just to give an idea about the price of such a semi like Lord Ellpus' .... but in London :wink:

(Though I agree with people like Ballack: house prices in the UK are extremely high compared with Europe ... ehem, continental Europe: doubled in the UK within the last four years!)

I am a real geek, and I have to admit that I am loving seeing all of these foreign cars.

Some I recognize, some I dont.

I take it, not all toyotas for example, are fashioned like the ones here in america?

Example

:: My car-
( american)
http://www.autowld.com/weekly/0408/605/2004_corolla_s_08.jpg

:: My car-
(european)

http://www.cardesignnews.com/autoshows/2004/geneva/highlights/images/skoda-octavia9925s.jpg

Both are 2004 Toyota Corollas..

Of course, this is of no interest to anyone but me, Laughing
but I enjoy seeing the diffrences.

Yep, the first time buyers aren't buying in London much, nowadays.

I keep thinking the bubble will burst, but it just goes on and on...

I feel really sorry for young people round the London area (and most of the South East) who are thinking about settling down and getting on the property ladder.
