could someone help me with these math problems please!!!

1. perform the indicated operations and simplify the result
square root 8 (square root 2 + square root 3)

2. simplify
a. 8x^2y^-2 x (4xy^2)^-1
_____________ ___________
x^-2 x^2

b. x^2--9
_________
X^2 + 3x

the line means divide just incase someone didn't kno what i was doing
please help!!!
