Bizarre Proposal to Increase the Number of Planets

Unlikely that the moons of Mars are captures. Mars' high compressed density (relative to the other inner planets which were formed from the same stuff) suggests that it was struck by an asteroid after differentiating, expelling the less-dense crust which would then form into a moon, like the Earth.
