I don't know what happened to my original thread, so I'll post here again.
I am a high school student and I'm hoping to work in the nanotech industry, either in research or engineering. I have several questions regarding the route to my goals.
1. What is the best degree for research in nanotechnology?
2a. Does nanoengineering exist right now?
2b. If so, what is the best degree for nanoengineering?
I have heard that physics and chemistry are good degrees for research, but nobody ever gave me any answer for nanoengineering. I've found that the University of Waterloo in Canada offers a nanotechnology engineering program (
curriculum here). What do you think about this program? Should I give it a shot?
