And I cant handle it.

It started with me metting George, the new landlord , at the apt and him thinking it was empty.

Well , it wasnt.

In fact, they changed the locks . So he cant even get in it anymore.

So.. we have to wait... MORE ..... to move.
NOt his fault.. but ****.

Go home. get everyone ready for a day out thrift store shopping for house stuff.

Pull up to the gas station..

our credit card is denied.....

WTF?
Ian just got paid
we have MONEY in savings.

Mind you , we had that horrible virus/bug with the key logger not too long ago.. Remeber?

So panic sets in. Im thinking someone drained us for all its worth.

And I race h ome, open bank of america dot com.......

our account was negative over 3 thousand dollars.

run around town trying to take care of that.

Our account is on hold right now and we are literally pennyless.

So I call my friend, and we go walk around target to de-stress.

Leave target , to find traffic completely stopped..

A drunk driver is cruising over the median flying between TREES to keep his speed.

Bounces over into on coming traffic and makes 3 people run off of the road to miss him.

Some traffic scoots away from me and I am NOT moving.

He bounces back UP the median ( this is a HUGE street/median. You COULD make this road a 6 lane residential its THAT big)
Travels away from the group of traffic I am stopped with, flips a u-turn and comes right at me at about 30-40 miles an hour.

There is NO car infront of me.
He. is. coming. right. at. me.

I threw off my seat belt and launch myself into the back seat covering jillian

and nothing.....

he turned the car around just in front of me, the black streaks from his tires not but 5-7 feet from my bumper..
and drives away.

I start to drive.. about 10 miles an hour, and he races BACK down the median going away from me, throwing yet ANOTHER u turn behind me and races up to the side of my car.

I call the cops at this point.

He tries to race past me and a group of cars, rear ends someone.. and then tries to drive away.

I gave the police his plates, year make and model and physical description.

im crying now.
going to have a few beers because I am so ******* worked up it isnt funny,

I was almost hit head on with my baby in the car

My account is negative 3000.00 due to possible theft

I dont have my apartment.

if there was ever a time i could use a friend, it is right the f.uck now.

Oh my, I just answered you in your other thread, and now this:
poor baby!

You know, I am a great believer in signs, and if it is THIS difficult
to get into the apartment, maybe something is telling you that it
would be not such a good idea to move there.

What happened to the maniac on the road? Did he get caught?

((((big hug for you)))))

Ian was at home when I was coming back from target.

My girlfriend and her two kids, me and Bean were hanging out in target.
We dont buy anything..
what we do is plop them into our carts and play with everything in the store.
Get some ideas for our houses and what not..

it is perfect de-stress time for us.

So he wasnt with me.

I have never been scared like that in my life.

This man was racing straight at my car going the wrong way.

he was leaned over in his seat as if he couldnt sit up straight.

and I remember thinking I could jump before he got to the car, but I couldnt get Bean.
I didnt think to back up, or drive up the median myself to get away, I just thought to get out of the car, but i couldnt because Bean was strapped in.
If he would have hit us, I dont know what would have happened.
My foot was tangled into the steering wheel when I realized he wasnt going to hit me. I was laying between the front seats with beans head shoved into my chest. He would have broken my legs no doubt.

I heard the squeal and i think that was when i screamed because bean started yelling .
when nothing happened i didnt know what to think.

I noticed the car next to me rolling and that is when i looked up and saw him headed away from us.
The car next to me wasnt rolling though.. it was me. I have a stick and the car began to roll into the curb. I sort of think it was that movement ( or at least i HOPE) that woke his ass up. I dont know.

But big black tire marks in a semi u-turn pattern were just where i could see them over the hood of the car.
I got out and they were maybe my body length away. About 5 feet.

then he pulled that crazy **** and followed me..

the cops , i dont know, they should have caught him by now.

I gace them his license plate, and told them it was a 92-94 grand prix red 2 door.
I was able to give a good physical description too because when he rear ended that person, he jumped out of the car, staggered to the bumper of his car.. looked at the damage , and staggered back in.

this kid. and i DO MEAN kid ..... maybe 23? at the most.

Could not even walk right with out hanging on to his car.

Either he just popped the biggest brain tumor in history, or that little rat bastard was drunk.
I can not say that I would not have attacked him if he hit us, and i could have gotten up. Watching him behave like he was drunk, and as frazzled as I was to begin with, I would have gone after him I think.

(sigh)

Our account is still frozen too.
The bank was kind enough to give us 100.00 cash so we wont be completely broke.
I had to go back and ask for that because we TRULY dont have anything.
We ven deposit all of our silver change into our savings so.. we have nothing. Not even couch change. Laughing

The investigation will have a police report if it can not be solved as basic human error on monday.
The manager said to be prepared for it NOT to be resolved that way because it was just too 'fishy'.
He said he has seen scams where people copy your card from restaurants and such, to turn around and attempt to clear small amounts over a long period of time.. essentially draining someone of thousands of dollars at 10 bucks at a time.
Sometimes those people just try to clear as high amount as they can in cash and walk away from your card.

He cant tell yet, if it was a cash transaction, or a pending "sale" because they had not recieved all the electronic information.

hubby and i rented a stupid , b-movie last night and let our minds just turn off.
I cried like crazy after I had given statements to the police and he was livid and scared as well.
We went to thrift town after that to get Bean out some more beacuse she was so stressed she was pulling at her hair.

HA.

now i am started in safe mode because my computer is stuck on perpetual restarts and i am waiting for trend micro to load.

when
the
f.u.c.k. will this streak end? Laughing

True.
Bean is just fine. So am I.

My account CAN be fixed..... even if I have to wait 30 days for a theft investigation...

my car is in tact

and if someone WAS trying to rip off our account, they cant now.

my computer can be fixed too..
( im workin on that right now and have a back up drive if I cant make any headway today)

i just feel so spent.

The apartment is almost ours.
George said the court gave them until Tuesday. He and I went yesterday on a whim thinking they might have already moved out by then. But the neighbors said they saw them moving at night , and early morning that day..
so they are on thier way out and will more then likely be out by tuesday.
If they are not, a police officer will be there to escort them.

I think George was just hoping to be able to hand me some keys because him and I talk alot and he knows what is going on in this house and he too has had an alcoholic family member. So he understands and I think he was just trying to 'help' as much as he could.. even if he was handing us keys to a dirty apt, he just wanted to help offer that security blanket .
he is a fabulous man i tell you Smile

it will end.

And with the clarity my morning coffee offers, things 'aint' that bad.....

i feel shitty.. but .. it aint that bad
