The movie was good. hamburger, Bailey and Setanta gave up on it very quickly. mrs hamburger and I and the girlDog enjoyed it. I want the soundtrack.
I bought some new walking sandals and boots at a major long weekend sale at Rockport. Maybe the boots should be called Noddy?

Been looking for my glasses. Unfortunately, I can't find my glasses without my glasses. Looked in all the obvious places. They have to be in the house, just hoping I don't step on them in the finding thereof.
In the meantime, I found the alternate pair, very slightly weaker. I found them where I thought I might, still in the corner of the suitcase I took to Chicago... yes, in case I lost my glasses. I'd tucked that suitcase in the garage, not quite fully unpacked, when the guys showed up to tile the floors some time ago.
So, now that I found the alternate glasses, I can find my very best glasses...
and then I can go to the grocery store.

Came back from the flea market. What a bore. Nothing original or great in a single booth that I perused. Came home, and the day got interesting. My computer monitor refused to come on. I know next to nothing how this stuff works. Fortunately, Mrs edgarblythe came in and suggested swapping monitors. Turns out we still have the one from the very first computer we bought- -a Hewlett Packard Pavilion M50. Much smaller screen, but, hey, I'll tough it out.
Dinner is done, kitchen is cleaned, sitting at the computer for a bit before calling it an early night. Four hours of sleep last night - I'm much too old for this.
eating a store bought sammich, drinking a cool looking bottle of not so great beer.
having another bowl of cold cherry soup with dumplings, trying to get a pile of photos of yesterday's adventure from hamburger's computer online so I can play with them more at home
Waiting for the salmon to cook.
Doing trip laundry. (This will take all day.)

Just read the good news about Noddy. What a relief!
I'm at work. It's a good day, considering it's Monday. I figured out a problem with one of my facilities that I'd been mulling over since Friday. They're not going to like it when I tell them what they have to do, but that's OK. I'm feeling a real sense of accomplishment today.
