I would greatly appreciate some assistance with the following.....
Clue.......Scot's exclamation Answer.....??H
Guessing I would imagine the Answer to be OOH or UGH.
Also, could someone explain to me what "Scot's exclamation" means and how you arrived at the correct answer, that would be great!
Regards

Hi EscaPod
Your answer is "och"
Och is a Scottish and Irish exclamation used to express disgust, disapproval, regret, weariness, or exasperation. "Och, it's to late now" is an example.
From Encarta Concise English Dictionary.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for Och and explaining how you arrived at that. I had not heard of that Clue before and did not have any idea what it meant.
The O of Och forms part of the Answer for Clue...Yoghurt Curry Dish.
I had in mind Korma.
Would I be right in thinking that Qorma could be correct also?
In your opinion is there one more correct than the other as an answer?
Thanks again for your assistance.

Hi Escapod
Korma is the word I have used but Qorma should also be accepted, and knowing Lovatts policy they will do that.
For information here is my authority:
Korma
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Korma, also spelt qorma or kurma, is a mild curry that originated in India and is often made with yoghurt sauce, cream, or nuts. In some cases it is made with coconut cream. It is especially used with chicken.

Thanks for the confirmation about Korma.
Pleased I checked about Scot's exclamation as I would have got that wrong.
Now to tackle the Stinker Competition Crossword. :-)
