I had been getting annoyed with the time that it took to recharge the batteries for my camera. so I bought one of the 15 minute high speed battery chargers. It seems to me that the batteries did not last as long with the quick charge than they did with the slow battery charger that came with the camera. The quick charge battery charger made the batteries quite warm, although there is a fan in the unit.
Is there any danger in using one of these gizmos? Will the quick chargers shorten the ultimate life of the batteries? The one that I bought was made by Duracell, and came with a couple of their batteries, so I assumed that it must be OK to use it.
Anybody have any information about this?

Intrepid- Thanks- Looks interesting. I suppose to be on the safe side I will have to stick with my slow charger!
