Hi Gang,
All those geography and travelling freaks out there!
This is how this works. It is an alphabetical game. I start with a place beginning with A and then the next guy follows it up with a place beginning with B. Too easy,eh? Now, the twist in the tale is that your place can't be a country if the preceding one was a country; you can't succeed a city with a city or a state with a state. A country may succeed a city, a state, a continent but not a country.
The following places are accepted :Continents, Countries, States, Cities, Islands that do not fall into any of these categories.
Suburbs, or particular colonies/locales in a city are not acceptable.
So, lets get started.
Aberdeen. (Its a city. You must now start with B and it should not be a city.)
Hey Guys, don't break my heart....
If you feel the game needs certain modifications, do let me know. Atleast, we can get started on this.
So, do I take this game and thread for dead?
(OK, sorry, i thought one had to use the second letter of the previous word--i see now that it is simple alphabetic progression.)
Guadalajara
Jura. That's where Orwell went to write 1984 which you girls musn't ever read.
Kanton (China's biggest sea port)
Long Island. But it's not that long. American's always exaggerate lengths.
Massachussets.(Famous for MIT)
Nepal. The less said the better.
Orissa (The Indian state gripped by Naxalites, a new form of terrorists)
Pitman Islands. They are famous for something from before electricity distribution but I have forgotten what it was.
Quetta (A city in Mid-East, exactly where I can't recall)
Ruritania. A Balkan country where some very odd things went on from time to time.
Surat (The city devastated in the Gujarat earthquake in 2003)
