Translation of Rabia syair

Divine Love
Rabia Al-Adawiyya

I have two loves for You
That of passion
and that of your merits!
For the passion.
I need to bring to mind
only You!

But for the love
that you merit,
The universe goes unseen
While You are not
before me
It is not to me
That I must give thanks
but to You
in this manifold love.
