Hate Speech

...cruelty.

I hate watching people treat each other, animals, the planet, you name it with cruelty. I find it very hard to not jump in and advocate, or even triangulate, on someone's behalf when I perceive cruelty.

Case in point, adolescent girls - my 14 year old daughter is currently going through a hell of a time with her 'friends', the likes of whom have no business calling themselves friends. Cruelty personified and I *hate* having to sit back and watch her fight her own battles, even knowing my interference would cause more harm than good.

A) Don't sweat the small stuff.

B) Other than sustained, accurate, large-caliber incoming fire arriving at your position, its pretty much all small stuff.

I hate countries that turn their own people into slaves.

I hate terror that hides under the guise of religion or God.

I hate road rage, people who are in too big of a hurry, they lay on their car horn and frustrate old people and scream out their window, "learn how to drive".

I hate people who talk on their cell phones while they are merging into traffic. They endanger peoples lives so they can blab on the phone.

I hate lies. Even my own.

I love broccoli.

Ronald Reagan died from eating Broccoli. (although some say he was brain dead by the time he was first elected president) I have also heard that he died because he kept putting 20 Mule Team Borax on his Cheerios.

It was bound to happen - I found something to agree with Frank Apisa on - I too love broccoli. I hate brussels sprouts.

How can you hate Brussel Sprouts and like Brocoli? Brocoli tastes like field grown hay but only if it's steamed. You have to cover it with cheese to get any reasonable person to eat it, but brussel Sprouts are full of flavor. Nutty, cabbagey, going from sweet to tart and back again all in a single mouthful.
