Get the salt and the new broom moved in first.

Then get that old broom under the porch to repel boarders.

Sea salt, white sage, broom, candles and dragon blood incense in hand, I am asking him to let me clean the apt FOR him when they move so I can clear out everything and give us an open space to begin with.

I just spoke to him.
He is going to call one new tenant and see if I can bring Hubby by to take a look at the layout.
She is moving in right now and should beok with letting us just take a peek.

I asked him if I should go ahead and bring by the deposit or security deposit ( 100 dollars to 'hold' it, and / or the normal security deposit ) when I come visit.
I didnt actually give him a chance to ask if we still wanted it and I used my words to push the assumption out there that we ARE going to take that apt. And that we ARE the new tenants.
He was absolutly ok with that.
He said, just bring all of that by on monday when I have a chance to sit down and fill in the paper work with you.

He gave the current tenants a notice to day that they need to move.
I dont know if he is still giving them until the end of the month or not , but he said he gave them the option of leaving the lease now and not owing anything.

lets hope they take that offer and leave tomorrow... if they can. :-)

Oh, good for you! YAY!!!

We just moved into a new and smaller than we wanted apartment, and we're actually really happy with how the size made us pare everything down to the bare neccessities. Living in a small place definitely has its charms.

I grew up in a house that was only 800 sq. ft., so I'm very familiar with that size...we managed, you just gotta get creative with storage options! Very Happy

Besides, with all the m.i.l. issues you've been dealing with, being a little crowded is NOTHING!! Congrats.

The Bear family sends Congrats!

(I'm jumping up and down with joy and the dogs are looking at me like "Why does SHE want a bone?") Very Happy

Still waiting.........

at least now I have a concrete date.
Saturday.

Not to MOVE in.. unless the current tenants move out by then, but that is the day that I will know for sure WHEN they are leaving.

This new landlord is very nice.. if it were me I dont know that i would have given them this much time and this much space.

But his nice-ness has me nervous..

>sigh
