Im going to be a bitch for a while and not allow her into our home until we are settled and comfortable where we are. I dont need that energy, nor do I want her presence in MY space.

Get the salt and the new broom moved in first.

Then get that old broom under the porch to repel boarders.

We've got an apartment with 400 square feet - most houses for four or five persons aren't bigger than that here. Embarrassed

(For two persons, apartments have between 250 and 300 square fet - that's exactly the seize, a family can have when getting unemployment benefit.)

I made a big mistake: our apartment has 1.300 square feet Embarrassed
(so it is between 650 and 850 square feet a family gets when on social security/unemployed)

Embarrassed

Glad to hear it, Wolfie. Of course, the difference between what you pay and what you expected is going towards a house of your own. Isn't it?

That's great news, shewolf! I keep my fingers crossed that everything
works out for you. If anyone deserves a break, than it's you. 800 sqft.
is the average apartement size, and it will be sufficient for you to start
out on your own. In a few years, when your credit history is build up and
you have saved up for a downpayment, you'll be able to buy your own
house with a much larger square footage. Just give it some time, girl.

Noddy, why a broom?
We give bread and salt, symbolically for that one never will run out of it.

Calamity Jane--

A new broom sweeps clean--a new broom is a new start.

As for the old broom under the front steps: A witch must stop and repeat every sweep the old broom has made before she can step across the threshold.

A worn horseshoe hung over the door (points up to hold the luck in) works the same way.

I thought Shewolf is a witch?

What does one do to repel old, female dogs?

Leave a trail of cold alcohol pointing away from the door...

Tomorrow is the big day.
I am hoping everything goes without a hitch and I sign a lease.
The only hitch I would see is if the current 'late' tennants pay their back rent, and opt to sign another lease.

that would be devistating.

So, cross your fingers for me ;-)
