The following has me well and truly stumped.
Would appreciate some assistance please.
232 Across 'Put right' ...... RE?T?S?
I thought the Answer may be Restore, however it does not fit with the following Down Answers I have.
For the corresponding Down Clues which incorporate the above letters, I have the following.
232 Down 'Football umpires' ... Refs
224 Down 'Control'... Operate
225 Down 'Stomach-settler' ...Antacid
226 Down 'Money chests' ... Caskets
As this is the last Clue I need to solve the Puzzle, it is driving me nuts.
I am at a loss on this one.

The word you are looking for is "rectify".
226d = "coffers" instead of caskets
