How are you supposed to enjoy the summer with the number of horseflies that are out? They are worse than mosquitos right now? Can spraying with something help to reduce the number how can I keep my kids from getting bitten? The bug spray for kids just doesn't stop those horseflies. Does anyone have any advice?
Hmm I remember them from summers in Maine. They do bite but fortunately not as much as mosquitoes, if I'm remembering correctly. I also recall that Cutter's, OFF and other repellents didn't seem to work, but this is over 25 years ago so I'm hoping improvements have been made.
