Doing calculations quickly

Hi,

Can you give your expert thoughts on how I can train my mind to calculate mathematical problems like percentage and slightly advanced problems, calculate faster.
I am 28 yrs old and I am a software engineer.

I want to put my mind to work more than my computer.

Start training yourself.
Do them in your head.
I found it easier to estimate things first as I have a facility for close approximations but you may find a more systematic approach works better for you.
Just start doing the calculations in your head.
Practice practice practice.
