I have seen pictures of Iggy in his younger days, and frankly, he is just not as attractive.
He is... rather boring looking.

I know nothing of his movies.. or his career in fact.
I just recognize his face.

The movie was just an in-between friend-service cameo appearance I think ... he's a singer. And a kick-ass singer too!

Early punk mostly.

Makes me think of Henry Rollins, too:

I love those square jaws with the muscle in the corner that shows off all kinds of emotion -- Rollins has it (though a bit to the freakish end of the spectrum), Sting has it, Pitt has it, Antonio has it, Patrick Stewart really has it (he did a lot of acting with it as Picard), I wonder if all the guys I've posted here have it. Love love love it.

Will have to pass for Iggy. Did I mention I like M. Jordan?

waiting for next Elderly Exhibit..

Got to say there is a certain charm to all this, or horror, as the case may be.
All the early 40 types seem so... so.... unformed to me, me being in my early sixties. Well, ok, not all.

And those of us, say, 50 - 70, seem in outer space to the 30 year olds who are busy thinking of themselves as old. When, ****, we're not that much older. And you're not all that much younger.

I'll leave you with this...

Faces go first.

Oh yes.
I know exactly what you are talking about.

It looks great on a man who has large broad shoulders as well.

That square jaw style has gotten me into more trouble in my life then anything else.
Though I am not so much of a fan of the chin dimple..

Osso, I see it as two separate things:

1) Who I ogle

2) Who I'd want to be in a relationship with

I'm an atypical female (at least as we've been socialized) in that I like male beauty, a lot. I like just plain looking without it being about personality at all.

Then there are the personalities that are attractive that have nothing to do with looks.

Then there are the combinations thereof, which usually rate high enough to post on these sorts of things (though I don't like Brad Pitt's personality much, nor Michael Jordan's for that matter, certainly not in terms of having a relationship with him [as if!] while I do admire his achievements and drive).

I currently ogle across the spectrum (how old is Patrick Stewart?) and will probably continue to ogle approximately the same spectrum as I get older... but that's all separate from who I would be romantically interested in, in real life.

Somebody already chose the two I would have picked - Sean Connery and Catherine Deneuve.

And Brian Stokes Mitchell, Bree's choice, has it all. When he sang "This Was Nearly Mine" on the South Pacific special, those sexy eyes were looking right at me - no one else.

Anyway, for more mature ,sexy eyed, with voices to match, men I like :

Timothy Dalton ( 62 now, but still looking good)

and 72 year old http://www.anthony-hopkins.com/anthonyhopkins.jpg

I like older men. Very Happy

He was the front man of the legendary, proto-punk, garage rock band The Stooges.

The Stooges were like the missing link between the Velvet Undeground and the Sex Pistols. They kicked ass - but I wasnt even born then yet, or just a wee kid (1968-1975).

Then in the late 70s early 80s he did a bunch of punk/postpunk stuff. "Lust for Life" will be an energising punkrock anthem for ever. "The Passenger" was on the same seminal '77 album. By the mid-80s he even had something of a pop hit with "Real Wild Child".

In between he toured - and lived on drugs - with Bowie.

His fame got a reviving boost when his songs were used in Trainspotting (the movie). The Stooges' archetypal No Fun was also used in a brilliant mash-up by 2 Many DJ's, who mixed it up with Salt N Pepa's Push It (!!).

There's still much more to say, but I'm no expert, I just really like some of his songs. Wikipedia looks like it has a good page

I might have reached a limit to ogling across the spectrum, not sure though.
Let's say I'm beginning to think I've reached a limit for it for age/looks, but maybe not for brains, which as we all know, are a key part of sex.

But I'll begin to posit that there is a too young to be interesting thing that happens, sort of a counterpoint to the more well known too old..
Of course, not for everybody of an age.
