A European peninsula derives its name from the ancient name of the longest river which flows through the largest modern day country which is part of that peninsula. What, as used in English, is the modern name of that river?
All help and clues gratefully received. Many thanks.
might be the Ebro river in the Iberian peninsula, except it's only the 2nd longest river in Spain.
Thanks for your answer yitwail, jury still out on this one.
