Ok, if you do something one time you did it once. Two times you did it twice. On rare occasions I have heard of three times thrice. What comes after thrice?

Third time is the charm. Once the incantation has been spoken thrice there is no need for further action.
Once, twice, thrice times a lady, Nick? Don't know about incantations.
Hmmm...Maybe incantations don't go past thrice. That's a relief!
why not just make 10 the loudest?
Odd numbers are more mystical than even numbers.
Three, seven, nine and eleven are particularly potent.
