Philip José Farmer - (born January 26, 1918) is an American author, principally known for his science fiction and fantasy novels and short stories. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana but spent much of his life in Peoria, Illinois, where he currently lives.

Philip Cortelyou Johnson--(July 8, 1906 - January 25, 2005) was an influential American architect. The founder of the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art (New York) in 1946, and later a trustee, he was awarded an American Institute of Architects Gold Medal in 1978 and the first Pritzker Architecture Prize in 1979.

Stanford White--(November 9, 1853 - June 25, 1906) was an American architect. He designed a long series of houses for the rich and the very rich, and various public, institutional, and religious buildings. His design principles embodied the "American Renaissance". In 1906 White was murdered by millionaire Harry K. Thaw, leading to a widely-reported trial.
