I hate to see the good ones go.
he lost me on the last paragraph where it says he got into big trouble and snitched on his partners. I have no use for a snitch, no matter his accomplishments.
I didn't read that far BVT. I don't care for snitches either, unless they cut me in on some of the action.
They must have edited the article, or I just don't see it...but I didn't see anything about him being in trouble or being a snitch.
..Nothin from nothin leaves nothin
You gotta have somethin if you want to be with me...
In think BVT is having a lend of you. I kept the original and there aint nothing in there about being a snitch - maybe he's thinking of Greg Allman.
I'm sure I knew this already but...
Billy Preston wrote Joe Cocker's 'You are so beautiful'. If he wrote nothing else in his life that would be enough.
I don't see anything either.
I LOVED Billy Preston.
I met him once. On a bus after a concert - driving from the arena to a house party. In Dallas. Maybe 1973 or so.
It's a long story,
But he was very, very cool.
