Have just completed the stinker and my answers are as follows;

6a = skiffle

8d = frangipani

107a = heath

It would appear you have elusive for 99d which gives you the 'u", but the word you want is evasive, and then heath will fit.

For information, when you post a crossword query it is a good idea to give the clue numbers, makes it easier for those which have the magazine at hand.
