Need help again. Last clue that has me stumped.

36A Queen back in England primarily to see Bert's offsider?

The only answer i can think of is Ernie, but this makes no sense to me. I presume I have got something else wrong or I am missing something. As always I am sure someone out there can help me.

We also have "ernie" as answer.

Bert and Ernie are from the Muppets TV show of Sesame Street fame.
ER = for Queen, Elizabeth Rex

25d = impertinently
37d = neutron
11d = kissandmakeup

this gives you the letters e,n and e. Hopes this helps
