I am not in the market, but if I were, it would read like this:

Rare Pinto, can be a firetrap sometimes, slightly damaged, but with
some minor alterations and inexpensive improvements, just like new.
Seeks experienced driver for a collision-free test drive.

I'm not in the market right now either, CJ. But my ad would be identical to the car I actually do drive.

10-year-old Lexus in good condition, clean interior, a few minor repairs needed, but handles great. 94,000 miles, should be good for another 100,000. Very smooth ride.

Not single...lol but hummmm......lol

4WD PKU, Big Knob Mud Tires, Manual Transmission, sometimes a bitch to crank, but this gem handles well if you have the right touch and know how to shift her gears. Exterior with minor flaws, interior clean as a whistle. Has been regulary maintenced, due again for another tune up.

I am not in the market at this moment, unless it's a female and there is a four poster involved.

But if someone were interested in say, having a good time with the minimum usage of electrical equipment, I would say something like......

Bentley R-Type, well upholstered, efficient clutch, magnificent undercarriage (regularly cleaned and polished - see photo). When driven hard, will go like the clappers for three minutes and then start smoking. In need of a good wash, rinse and wax hand job.

Polished undercarriage.....

Indian sports car. Expensive to maintain, big, powerful and has a spare wheel. Doesn't like to be parked much, and changes owner frequently, but gives the ride of yr life while you have it.

Currently being used as a taxi.

I don't know - may come in handy - when I'm on a pilgrimage to The Grail Speed-Dating Service!

Quite like the idea of saying "get your armorial shield - you've copped"

Francis - Beware the salesmen. Those of us not considered "for sale" might suddenly be on the market if our spouses find this thread. Smile

I too am not single but if I were....

A few minor accidents, imperfections on surface. Lots of get up and go. May stall on occasion after long trips. Imporoper fueling causes major backfire but with some TLC, will purr. Medium maintenance requirements as it has been well cared for.

I am seeking a diminutive and demure powerhouse of a woman with a lively sense of humor, intelligent understanding and a love of life.

Oh . . . wait . . . i've already got that. Never mind.

Klonker that has delusions it's a Jaguar. No owners, independent chassis. Built for comfort not for speed. It ain't pretty but it gets where it needs to go if treated with care. If her engine doesn't turn over on the first try, oil her up and try again! No sense of direction, prefers a firm hand.
