Stats - Class Widths for Histogram Problem... Help?

Right. We have this situation. Usually, you work out the class width by doing:

upper class boundary - lower class boundary.

However, I am doing this question - it's got the following classes:

14.6-14.8, 14.8-18.0, etc.
In terms of weight of compost in kgs.

The class widths, according to the answer at the back, is 0.2 for the first class but not 0.3. I don't understand why that is. Anyone able to help?

...PS. Exam's tomorrow. This is pretty much last minute, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

unless I misunderstand the problem, you subtract the last number from the first number, and POOF! that's your answer.
