i have to express the fractions 3/4, 7/16/and 5/8 with the LCD..
im pretty sure that the LCD is 16 im not sure what do from here
When you manipulate something, it generally has to have the same value as it did before. In this case, that means whatever you multiply by, it has to equal one. For the first fraction, you multiply by 4/4, and get 12/16. The second is 7/16, and since it already has a denominator of 16, it stays the same. The last is multiplied by 2/2 to get 10/16. so then, if you have to add them, you get 29/16 or 1 13/16
