Concord 3045 PC-cam mode... audio?

Hi, I have a Concord 3045 Digi cam, and I was wondering, seen as it has a microphone and you can do video with/audio recordings, can I use audio in the PC cam setting? I can't seem to be able to get it to work, but this is probably just me being stupid...
