Well, my answer to your question was not that adamant because, about Central Asia:

I'm sorry I asked. I found a hare that I thought was called a Central Asian hare. Now I don't know what I found. I found another hare--from Manchuria. Then I had to look for Manchuria on a map. Don't think that's central Asia. Aaaaaargh!
