Does anybody own one? Any info would be greatly appreciated (especially about the time it takes from when you click to when the camera takes the picture...my last camera could take up to 10 sec. with that). I'm considering buying one..any tips?
Thanks!
gp, WELCOME to A2K. Shutter speeds on digital cameras are the bain of most photographers. It seems trying to time the shutter to take any special picture is always a handicap for photographers. The quickest ones probably cn be found through a web search, but I usually select my camera based on size, weight, ZOOM capability, and quick shutter speeds for night pictures. Since no one camera seems to fit the bill, I carry around two digitals most of the time; one for the ZOOM from 38mm to 410mm, and the Olympus Stylus 800 (8MP) for night picture taking. It works out over 90 percent of the time.
I hate bulk, and the current quality of cameras are numerous, and the choices are difficult with so many in the marketplace.
Good luck.
