Hi Dree, a bit more info, please. When you say "touringcar", do you mean a taxi? Hire car? Minibus?
How many of you are coming on the excursion?
Basic answers for now.....
1. Don't know, but there are plenty here who will.
2. Depends what time of day. You would probably be better off going into London by train (direct from Heathrow Station) and getting a taxi.
If you are getting a Hire car, it would take about an hour, including the time to find a parking place, in normal traffic. Double that time for rush hour.
4. St James's park is just across Westminster Bridge, about five to ten minutes walk from the Eye.
As far as all the travelling in between certain places goes, you would be MUCH better off using a taxi, or Underground (tube).
Driving from one to another does not take a lot of time, but the problem comes when you want to park somewhere.
My advice? Forget the Hire car, as you are in London all day, and everywhere is pretty close, when in London.
Use the money saved on the car to spend on taxi's. The train service from Heathrow to London is excellent.
Google a map of London, or buy one at your local bookshop, and ENJOY!!
I hope the weather is good for you, and welcome to A2K.
